About this site
This website is for anyone who is concerned about the veterans memorial that the Alumni Board of Saint Mary's University of Minnesota plans to erect in the spring of 2008 on the Winona campus. In response to concerns about the memorial, the university has said: "As a Lasallian university, all viewpoints are not only welcome, they’re encouraged here." This is one place for alternate views on the memorial to be voiced. You can learn about different people's concerns about the memorial by reading the letters here. Then we encourage you to express your own thoughts or concerns by writing to the university, and e-mailing your letter to this blog. Find out how.
